If you are a student who is wanting to TRANSFER to another school in our district, please see your home school for more information to begin that process. 

1. Copy of birth certificate- not required, but requested for age verification

2. Copy of social security card- not required, but requested for verification

3. Proof of residency in Chilton County- driver's license, utility bill, or residential lease.

4. Immunization Record

These documents can be electronically uploaded into your application if you have the ability to do so. 

Some forms, including health assessment records, may still need to be completed at your local school. They are linked below. 

Alabama First Class PreK Registration is closed for the initial drawing. If you would like to be placed on a wait list for PreK, you may call your local school. You will still need to apply at the link below.

How does the "drawing" work? 

All names from the registration will be entered into a drawing at the school chosen on their registration form. Drawings will be held at the local schools on March 22, 2024. You will be contacted if your child is chosen for PreK class by the school principal. If you are not chosen, you will be placed on a waiting list.

The following documents are required for registration:

**If your child attended Pre-K at a Chilton County School this past year, a contact sheet will be sent home for you to verify the information and return to the school counselor. Please note on the cover letter which school your child will be attending Kindergarten at.
